It's Skincare Monday and today I want to talk to you about those bits in my skincare routine that I have been loving recently and that have really made a difference for my skin.

First of all let's start with cleansers, because there's many! I've been into double cleansing lately and I start my evening routine with The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil (13€ here or in the shop). I saw this over on Amelia Liana's channel and decided to give it a go since she couldn't stop praising it. Indeed this oil melts down all my makeup, including the waterproof mascara and eyeliner that I always struggle with. I just use 1-2 pumps and massage it into the skin for 30 seconds to a minute approximately and then rinse it away with lukewarm water. It leaves the skin nourished but clean and definitely not stripped.

Then I move on to a The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter (13€ here) to take care of the rest or the dirt that might have stayed behind, massage it and remove it with a hot damp face cloth which also does some exfoliation. I love the feeling of cleansing with a balm and a cloth. It just feels so luxurious to me. I reviewed this cleanser before here if you want to know more.

Recently I started on a sample of the La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel For Oily Sensitive Skin (9.70€ here) and very skeptically saw almost immediate improvement on my chin where I always experience those annoying under-the-skin bumps that never come out and never go away. Looks like this cleanser is doing miracles at clearing out my skin without drying it out. I am definitely buying the full size. Maybe it is too early to tell if it is my definite solution but I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Still in theme of unwanted bumps and imperfections, I find myself reaching for my Dr. Organic Tea Tree Blemish Stick (6.70€ here or in De Tuinen) over any other of my spot treatments. This natural remedy seems to be really working on my zits and can't recommend it enough.

On to a pampering treat, I have resumed using The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-oil (19€  here and in the shop) before my night cream. It is simply wonderful to put on the skin and it leaves my skin soft and hydrated in the morning. Read here for a more detailed review.

Last but not least I have still been loving the Garnier Miracle Skin Cream (around 10-15€ in your drugstore) as a day cream/ tinted moisturizer. It gives me the minimal coverage and uniforms the skin tone, perfect for everyday wear when I don't want to have a lot of makeup on my skin all day. I wrote bout it here before.

What are your staple skincare items? Please leave a comment below, since I'm always looking for some nice discovery!
