I got this particular mascara with my Estee Lauder Cosmetic Beauty Defining 5 pc Travel kit
, which I ordered from Amazon. Out of all the five products I got, this mascara was the only one that had the quantity of sample size(3.5 ml) instead of regular travel sized (7 ml) one, but that is just a little less than the full sized product quantity, so can't complain on that! I've used it four times till date, and have really liked the effects it gave. As, it was just the sample size, I thought of reviewing it here today.

3) The brush is quite handy to use and works well in brushing my lashes properly and separating them.

My experience with the mascara:
1) I really love the way it defines my lashes. I am blessed with somehow long lashes, and it gives a beautiful lift and definition to them, making my eyes pop out nicely and look brighter. And it stays that way on me all day long while I am in office from morning 8:00 AM till evening 6 PM.
2) The mascara is quite light on my lashes. I've not experienced sleepy eyes using this, which I've experienced before with some other mascaras.

4) It is very easy to take this mascara off my lashes. It comes off by simply washing my face with a face wash without causing any smudging or mess around my eyes. Also, I've not experienced any of my lashes breaking while taking off this mascara.
5) The mascara gives a natural lift to my eyes, which is quite apt for daily office wear.
6) It has not caused any irritation to my eyes.
6) I haven't felt much clumping using this mascara, even though it clumps a bit when I use around 2-3 coats of mascara over my lashes, but that can easily be managed
Cons:
I've not found any noticeable lengthening or volumising effect on my lashes with this mascara. It just works great in separating my lashes and making my eyes look "opened up" naturally. So, it may not be apt for getting any dramatic eye look. I don't agree to the 3 times claim.
Overall verdict: I like the sample Estee Lauder Magnascopic Mascara that I got, and found it quite decent for everyday use. It does define your lashes well and make your eyes look fresher and naturally beautiful. However, you may need to go for either false eyelashes or volumising/lengthening mascara if you want to sport dramatic eye look for a party or occasion. I'd recommend this mascara to working ladies for everyday wear to office where they can sport naturally fresh lashes using this.

Will I purchase this? : I may consider buying this as an option, but I'd love to try some other mascaras from Estee Lauder as well, like their Projectionist High Definition Volume Mascara or Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara!
